Before a bill becomes public

A reviewer checks the original bill, the requester’s identity, the current outstanding amount and the recipient. Requests are private until approved. Reviewers cannot approve their own requests.

A bill photo is not proof on its own

We check bills for duplicate submissions, AI-generation information and signs of alteration. Reviewers confirm the original document and outstanding amount with the official issuer before approval. A scan alone does not establish that a bill is genuine or unpaid.

Money goes toward the bill

Approved requests use either an activated Razorpay Route account belonging to the biller, or a verified official payment channel used by our team. Team payments require private receipts and contribution reconciliation. The requester does not receive cash. Collection and biller payment are tracked separately.

Clear fees, before payment

A platform fee is added to your selected contribution. The current fee, its amount and the final total appear in your basket before you confirm payment. Your selected contribution is assigned to the bill; payment collection and payment to the biller are tracked separately.

If something looks wrong

Report the request from its story page or contact support with the bill or payment reference. Payment exceptions go to manual review. No verification system can eliminate fraud entirely.
