A little help should feel safe.
Your privacy matters. This notice explains how SwipeAliya handles account information, private bill evidence and payments.
What we collect
Account name, verified email, Google account identifier and profile photo (when provided), your chosen profile details, custom profile photo, password hash (for email accounts), your submitted story and bill evidence, payment references and security rate-limit counters. We never receive your card details or UPI PIN.
What becomes public
After review, your chosen display name, city, story, bill category, issuer, amount and verification date appear in the feed. Never include private account numbers, addresses or health details in your public story.
Who sees the original documents
Authorised reviewers can access original evidence for independent review. Evidence and profile photos are held in private encrypted storage. Access checks apply to every private document and photo request. Metadata flags and review decisions are recorded privately. Signed-in members can see a requester’s current profile photo beside their reviewed bill, story, saved selections and contribution history. Anonymous access is disabled by default. Pending or rejected requests do not expose photos through this bill endpoint.
AI and external verification
SwipeAliya does not automatically send uploaded proofs to external AI services. Manual third-party checks require appropriate permission. A reviewer may instead obtain an original directly from the issuer. Google and Razorpay process sign-in and payment information under their own notices.
Your choices
Contact support to request access, corrections or deletion. Financial and security records may need to be retained where required. The operator must set a documented retention schedule and delete old evidence. Saved bill identifiers and your basket are stored only in your browser; clearing browser storage removes them.
Notifications you choose
If you enable notifications, SwipeAliya stores an encrypted browser subscription and your notification preferences. Your browser’s push provider delivers encrypted messages. Previews use general wording rather than private bill evidence, names or amounts. You can disable this device in your profile or browser settings. Signing out disables push delivery to that account on this device. In-app notification history is visible only after signing in.
Payment policy records
When you accept the payment notice, we keep your account identifier, acceptance time, language and the policy version, together with a copy of the policy wording. These records support payment administration, dispute handling and applicable legal obligations. They are not shared as public profile information.
